Christopher Almquist

Almquist, Christopher "Chris" age 34 of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully February 18th, 2019. Chris worked at Prince's Marble for 14 years. He also loved to fish; it didn't matter what for or with whom, as long as he was on the water. He lived for his kids, whether cooking, fishing, or just spending time with them. Always a prankster, Christopher loved to put a smile on the faces of others. He was happy if you were. Chris will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Dolly; grandfather, Richard Almquist; mother, Theresa; grandparents, Margie and Duane; and dogs, Shadow, Max, Rex, Chongo, Buddy, Mercedes, Brutus, and Bella; Momma Kitty; and many other beings (human or otherwise). Chris is survived by his fiancAC.e, Amanda; children, Dylan, Mackenzie, and Theresa; stepchildren, Samantha, D'Andre, Haylie, and Bobby; Poppa Roy; Jeremy "Pops" (Corina "Ma"); siblings, Scott and Matthew; aunts and uncles, Kathy (Doug), Patty (John), Kermit, Leif (Karen), and Jolene; and many other loving cousins, family, friends, and dogs; Lucky and Romeo. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019, 3:00 PM with a gathering of family and friends from 1:00 - 3:00 PM the same day. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
