Clyde Chappell

Clyde Lavarr Chappell, 78 of R.R. #3 Rushville passed away at 7:17 pm Thursday, May 1, 2003 at his residence. He was born of Saturday, July 26, 1924 in Nephi, UT to the late Conrad Thomas and Frances Velate Chappell. He married Hazel Sorenson July 2, 1948 in Las Vegas, NV. She passed away April 9, 1994. Surviving is a son, David Chappell & wife Kim of R.R. #3 Rushville; two grandchildren; a brother, Richard Chappell of Campo, CA. Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death. He was a Navy veteran of W.W.II. In his early years he was a Tuna fisherman in San Diego, CA and later was a Millwright for Stone Container in Missoula, Montana retiring in 1991. He loved Montana. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel in St. Paul, MN with Joesph Trimble officiating. A Navy Honor Guard will conduct military rites.
