Connie Brooks

Connie Deneen Brooks of Stillwater age 70, passed on December 28, 2022 at Lakeview Hospital. Connie was a nurturing, caring mother. A strong and outspoken activist for justice. An advocate for the underrepresented. She was preceded in death by her mother Marylyn Deneen, her father Irvin Deneen, her brother Paul Deneen, and her baby sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles Brooks Jr. Her children; son James (Sara) Brooks; daughters Anne (Michael) Evans, Carrie Brooks, Hayley (Bennie) Thomas, and James Henderson; and her 7 grandchildren; Josh, Lucy, Sam, Ted, Mary, Azure and Atticus; her brother Mark (Sandy) Deneen, nephew Matthew, and nieces Emily, Caty, and Alyssa; and many family members, friends, and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Monday, January 16, 2023 at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation beginning at 9:00am.

Memorials preferred to League of Women Voters and Planned Parenthood.
