Cory Howard
age 46
Beloved by Family and Friends
Cory's mission in life was to question everything and to have as much fun as possible. She was in wonderment of nature, an ardent student of astrology, and passionate about alternative healing arts. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Cory migrated to the Twin Cities in 1979. She was well-known in the community through her partnership in the Prairie Star Coffeehouse (a manifestation of her combined love of entertaining, art, and lively conversation). Others may remember her through her appearances on REV 105's Saturday night show, "Moonlight Meditations." In more recent years, Cory had returned to her eastern roots in order to be closer to her family and the land that she loved. There she employed her talents professionally as a charitable fundraiser for the United Way. Cory passed away courageously on March 1, 2004. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara. She will be deeply missed by her father, Ed (Sunny) Howard; sisters, Kim (Bill) Ulrey, Dana Howard, Tracey (Jeff Blake) Howard; and brother, Judd (Lori) Howard; and also nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Memorial contributions may be sent to Genesis Farm, 41A Silverlake Road, Blairstown, New Jersey, 07925.
