Age 59. Passed away peacefully on April 22, 2013 of ALS. Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Esther Magnuson; sister, Jean Junker; father-in-law, Emery Nelson; and sister-in-law, Tina Nelson-Olson. Survived by wife, Debra; brother and sister-in-law, David and Mary Magnuson; brother-in-law, Michael Junker; mother-in-law, Doris Nelson; former wife, Kris Brinkman-Strasburg; special cousin, Kathy Junker-Smith. Also survived by 8 much loved nieces and nephews and their families, and so many cousins and friends.
Dan loved playing hockey, coaching hockey (with close friend, Mitch Hobbins) and watching U of M Gopher hockey. He graduated from Stillwater H.S. in 1971 and graduated from Clown College in 1995.
Service Friday, April 26 at 1 PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Visitation Thursday (TODAY), 4-8 PM and also 1 hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Bldg Fund or ALS-Research. Please - No flowers.
