White, Daniel R.
Age 59 of Woodbury passed away on October 23, 2015
Dan LOVED racing a" he traveled around the midwest with family and friends beginning at a young age, and continued to race into adulthood. He loved going to Cedar Lake, WI and Knoxville IA. Although he never drove himself, he loved hanging around the racetrack and working on cars. His uncle told him one time: "Drivers are a dime a dozen, the real work is in setting up the car". Dan was a glazier, mechanic, and regular man's engineer - a jack of all trades. He could fix anything, build anything, and make anything run better. Similarly, he was creative, innovative, and liked to create things out of nothing. Even though he chose the trades and labor jobs, he was extremely intelligent and epitomized ingenuity. Dan loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing and he had an appreciation for nature. He was a family man, a best friend to many, and had a huge heart.
