Passed away March 22, 2015 surrounded by family and loved ones. Survived by husband, Dick Koats; children, Elena Mezin and Tyler Koats; parents, Jerome and Rhoda Monkarsh; siblings, Scott Monkarsh, Gwen Campbell and Lori Monkarsh; other relatives and friends. While Danna was a prominent figure in the healthcare industry, her passion was in serving others. Danna demonstrated excellence and compassion in everything that she did for her family, friends, colleagues and customers. Her last mission of establishing Mezin-Koats Colon Cancer Research will leave a legacy that will continue to touch the lives of countless people impacted by colon cancer around the world. A celebration of Danna's life will be Saturday, March 28, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service.
