Darlene Albrecht

It was nearly impossible not to love or at least like Darlene once you met her and when you did you most certainly could not forget her. Darlene had a personality that lit up the room! Despite facing many tough challenges, Darlene lived life to the fullest! She was unfiltered, outspoken, witty, adventurous, and fun-loving. Very little slipped past her. She loved animals, babies, movies, food, and shopping, which her caregivers showered her with for the past several years. She was attached to and grateful for them, and considered them family, as they did her in so many ways. Her family, especially her beloved sister Joan, has the utmost gratitude for this. Darlene left us peacefully, at home with her caregivers, following a stroke that even her tenacious body and spirit could not recover from, primarily due to her Lewy Body Dementia. She was much loved, as she will be eternally.
