Darlene S. Sitko (nee Sherry)

Age 82, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully January 30, 2023.

Preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings.  She will be sadly missed by loving husband of 61 years, Bob; children, Susan Sitko (Scott), Douglas (Brenda), Paul, and Jill Hendrickson; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings; other family and friends.

Darlene had a Masters in Public Health Nursing.  She was a nurse at Lakeview Hospital and St. John’s Hospital and then became a nursing instructor at Mankato State and North Hennepin Community College.  She was also active with St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church Missions where she made multiple trips to the Czech Republic to teach English.

A celebration of Darlene’s life will be Monday, February 13, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Elmo.

Memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church - Lake Elmo, PBS or Valley Outreach – Food Shelf.
