Darrel H. Sistad

Age 49, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, passed away on August 20, 2024, after a hard-fought battle to recover from a massive stroke.

He had a deep passion for drawing, using his artistic skills to create meaningful expressions and lasting memories. He found happiness in simple joys-fishing, hosting BBQs, sitting around bonfires, or sharing time with friends. He also had a great love for music, cruising in his cherished IROC Camaro was one of his greatest pleasures.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrel Sr. and Teresa (Kraus).

He is survived by his children, Darrel "DJ" III, and Caitlyn; siblings, Kevin, Terry (Michelle), Paul (Mike), and Teresa; along with many nieces and nephews.

Darrel treasured every moment he spent with his children and will always be remembered for his generous spirit and sense of adventure. His resilience during his recovery showcased the determination and strength that defined him.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
