David Chosa

David Allen Chosa, 4/22/88, 31 years of age, made his journey home on Monday, December 23, 2019.

Wake will be at the Bois Forte Urban office, 1308 East Franklin Ave, Minneapolis on Saturday, December 28 at 7pm through Sunday, December 29th.

On Monday, December 30th at 9am procession from Bois Forte Urban office will begin to St Mary’s Cemetery, 4403 Chicago Ave S in Minneapolis. He will be laid to rest next to his Brother Anthony.

David was always the one that would be there if someone was in need. He took care of family and friends when we they needed him, whether it was for hospice care, errands or babysitting. His infectious laugh and playful nature could lift anyone’s spirits. He was as close as a sibling to his nieces and nephew. He was his brother’s, Tony, and his mother’s best friend. They never spent a single day apart - through good and bad they were inseparable. David looked forward to the times his brother, Frankie, and he could hang out. No matter what life demanded of them, they always made time for each other. They LOVED the Vikings.  David was held in high regard by all who crossed his path.

Preceded in death by brother, Anthony Chosa; uncles, Eugene, Raymond, Ronny, LeRoy, Manny, Mike, Bob, Hank and Lenny; and aunt, Catherine.

Survived by his mother, Loretta Chosa; sister, Gladys Chosa; brother, Franklin Chosa; uncles, Duane, Tbone, and Brian; aunts, Arlene, Peggy and Joyce; nieces, Loretta, Nyssa, Caryssa, Leilani, Lorralea, Calina, and Toni; nephews, Bobby and Franklin; great-niece, Ariel; and great-nephews, Kyler and Anthony.

Special friends include, John H., Charlie R., Jyakima C., Marc A. Jason R., Migisi S., Brandon W., Ralph H., Waabojiig S., Anthony J. Special cousins include, Belinda, Ary’ana, Rayne and Kayne.

There are so many cousins, friends and acquaintances whom he loved dearly.
