David Clem

David "Dave" Clem Jr. Passed away in his own home December 15th, 2018 surrounded by family. Dave graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School, Roseville in 1986, after which he enlisted in the Army. After basic training, Dave went on to work on the weapons system computers of Apache helicopters. Once out of the armed forces, he worked at a variety of jobs, including Fort Snelling National Cemetery until getting sober on June 27th, 2001. Dave then pursued an associate's degree in addiction counseling, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology while working at the Anthony Louis Center. Eventually, Dave moved on to work at Healtheast as the Clinical Supervisor for their outpatient programs while he pursued and earned his Master's degree. He truly enjoyed what he did, and was proud of his work helping people with addiction. At home, he lived a full life enjoying metal music and firearms, playing guitar and video games, and doing projects around the home. On the top of the list of highlights in his life was the birth of his children (Sydney in 2011 and Cameron in 2016). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and LaVonne Wells; and stepfather, Jack Blanding. Dave is survived by his loving wife, Lora; children, Sydney and Cameron; mother, Dianne Blanding; aunts, Judi (Pat) Kinsella, Jeanne (Dave) Johnson, and Bonnie Wells; uncle, Dan (LuAnn) Wells; nieces and nephews, Jason (Esther) Kinsella, Aubrey (Jerrod) Tipton, Janae Kinsella, Rebecca Alden, Mitch Alden, Jared (Tara) Wells, and Travis (Karissa) Wells; brother in law, Jacob Wykle; mother in law, Terri Wykle; father in law, Scott Wykle; and many other loving family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 19th, 7:00PM with visitation 5:00-7:00PM at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake MN, with private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
