David F. Link

US Army SPC, US Air Force AMN

David Francis Link passed away on September 1, 2024 at the age of 58. Born on May 3rd 1966 in St. Paul MN, David was a devoted father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle, and dedicated his life to serving and protecting his country.

David proudly served in the Air Force for 3 years at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, UT. He served 18 years in The Army National Guard, Red Bulls 34th Infantry Division in Minneapolis, MN with tours including Operation Iraqi Freedom achieving the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Armed Forces Reserve Medal.

David enjoyed everything outdoors from fishing, hunting and camping, riding his ATVs and teaching his son Archer everything about the outdoorsman life, he was truly the quintessential man of the woods. 

David is survived by his father, James Link; brother, Steven (LaChelle) Link; sister, Julie (Michael) Pooler; daughters, Sharon, Natalie and Justine Link, April Milano; son, Archer Link; and granddaughter, Lyla Mendoza. 

Funeral services will be held at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater, MN on Tuesday, September 24th. Visitation from 10am-11am, 11am service with luncheon to follow. David will be laid to rest at 2pm at Fort Snelling.
