Martin, David Ryan
Age 25, of Roseville, MN, passed away unexpectedly from an illness on January 27th, 2018. David was a loving son, fierce big brother, and joyful partner; he was also an amateur shower vocalist, aggressive tennis player, spastic dancer, and all-around life enthusiast. David is survived by his fiancAC.e Wendy Hatch, parents Bruce and Donna (Spannaus-Martin), brother Tim, grandmother Jean Spannaus, godfather uncle Glenn, godmother Suzanne Swits, and cousin Molly Casey. He loved to play video games and tennis, making great friends in both activities. He graduated from Roseville Area High School, earned a B.A. degree from St. Olaf College, and a M.S. degree and a Graduate Certification in Statistics from the University of Maryland. He made friends easily retaining long-lasting friendships at every stop of his life. As a young adult, he added local adventures and international travel to his activities, thoroughly enjoying a recent trip to Taiwan to meet the extended family of his fiancAC.e. Memorials in his honor may be made to a shelter assisting women, children, or animals. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, 5:00 P.M. at the BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. Family will receive friends following the service.
