David Peroceschi

David Peroceschi, a man known for his unique spirit and solitude, passed away on January 17, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS. Though he had few close friends, those who truly understood him cherished his presence. He was deeply devoted to his deceased wife, Mary Rita, until the day of his passing. 

David is survived by his loving daughter, Erica S. McKay, her husband, Thomas McKay; her children, Mary Olivia (Alex), Timothy David, and Madeline Elyce Fultz. He is also survived by his step-granddaughters, Madeline Grace and Eliana Rayanne; and his stepdaughter, Jessica Buege. He is fondly remembered by his sister, Lynn Lynch; and dear friends, Peter L. Furseth, II and his wife, Mary Elizabeth; and nephews, Peter Furseth, III, and Richard Furseth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, June Delores and Urban Herald Peroceschi; his sister, Colleen Gregg; and his brother, Herald Eugene Peroceschi. 

Baptized in the Lutheran Church, David later converted to Catholicism, a faith he cherished until his final days. He dedicated 35 years of his professional life as an ophthalmic technologist with James E. Standefer MD PA at Associated EyeCare. David found joy in gardening and was an enthusiastic golfer at the Stillwater Country Club. He also enjoyed playing duplicate bridge at the North St. Paul Bridge Center with his partners, Linda Enrooth and Sydney Lund. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Church of St. Mary, 423 5th Street South, Stillwater with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. A luncheon will follow the service. David will be laid to rest at a later date at Saint Michael's Cemetery in Bayport, MN, alongside his beloved wife, Mary Rita. 

David's unique spirit and the love he shared with his family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
