Born November 15, 1939, passed away December 19, 2024.
David was born in Michigan but moved to Stillwater at a young age and grew up there. After graduating from Stillwater High School, he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Colorado. After the Army, David returned to Stillwater and began working at First National Bank. He worked his way up and became a loan officer working with local businesses. David was always quick to meet new people and share a joke so working as a loan officer was a perfect fit. His work with First National helped shape Stillwater’s business community to what it is today. After retirement, David was the president of the Margaret Rivers Fund, supporting charities around the country. He and his wife Sandy (Born July 22, 1944; passed February 29, 2012) moved to Balsam Lake, WI and then to Fort Myers, FL. David returned to Stillwater in his final years.
David is survived by his four sons, Michael, Mark, Jason, and Jon; their spouses and nine grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
