David Michael Rydeen, age 54, of North Branch, MN, formerly of Stillwater, lost his courageous battle with cancer on November 1, 2019, while surrounded by family. Reunited in Heaven with parents Howard “Bud” and Eileen Rydeen and brother Peter. He will be missed by his wife of 22 years, Kathy Rydeen; their children: Angie (Matt) Jungbluth, Karyn (Isaiah) Brandstrom, Kelly (Joe) Rohde, Alicia (Chris) Diethert, and Adam Germain; grandchildren Jon, Jake, Gabriella, Joe, Braxton, Brooklyn, Owen, Lucas, Croix, and Audrey; siblings: Julie (Joe) Lubitz, John (Sheila) Rydeen, Tom Rydeen, Amy (Jim) Tibbetts, Danny (Sarah) Rydeen and Jeremy (Kristi) Rydeen; nieces and nephews, and many others he held dear in his heart. If you really know David, you already know that, “Living the Dream” meant spending every possible moment he could at the lake with his wife Kathy, and Laney, the dog he thought he never wanted but fell deeply in love with. Dave was a lifelong fisherman and hunter who shared his passions with his family and his best hunting partner, Harley-Boy. Ever since his early days on the farm, ALL animals loved David… including “Earl, the Girl, Squirrel.” Oh the conversations Dave and his animals could have! (and did!) Everywhere Dave went, he brought people together with his infectious joy for life and his uninhibited goofiness. Join us in celebration of Dave’s life at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater on Thursday, November 7. Visitation 3-6pm, Celebration of Life at 6pm, followed by dinner. Memorials preferred to the family. Arrangements by the Cullen Crea Funeral Home.
