Deanna Storbakken

Deanna Joy Storbakken (Johnson) 78. Passed away in her sleep on Dec. 9, 2023 at Encore Memory Care in Hugo, MN.  Where she lived for the last 4 years.

Deanna was a fun-loving mother, successful realtor at Realty World in Stillwater, MN, and then leader of remote data teams at Thompson Publishing in St. Paul, MN.  She loved travel, nature, music, dancing, reading, and games. She also loved boating, camping, and fishing. In her younger years she won trophies racing snowmobiles, led Girl Scouts, volunteered for the Cancer Society, was a League of Women Voters member and weighed in at city council meetings occasionally. Deanna grew up on a family farm near Alvarado, MN. She maintained life long friendships with siblings and neighbors. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Storbakken, sisters Pauline and Arlyn, parents Ferdinand and Anne, and step father Hjalmer Nelson. Survived by her daughters Emily Storbakken and Amy Storbakken, siblings Floyd, Deloris, Sandra, and Lana, and step brothers and sister Don, Duane and Linda, sisters and brothers in laws, and many nieces and nephews.
