Delores E. Hertenstein

Age 91, of Sandstone, formerly of Stillwater, passed away on March 3, 2024.

Preceded in death by Fred M. Hertenstein, her husband of 67 years.

Delores will be sadly missed by children, Michael (Mary), Julie (Kenneth) Hawkins, and Beth (Mark) Shenk; grandchildren, Adrienne (Beau) Whelan, Lynsey (Justin) Tripp, Nicole Shenk, Elizabeth Huntsberry, and Tyler Shenk; great-grandchildren, Avery, Levi, Anna, Mikael, Sadie and Conor; sister-in- law, Norma (Wayne) Johnson; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Delores retired from Trinity Lutheran Church where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was active in her Ladies Circle, vacation bible school and various mission initiatives. Delores served as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Den Mother. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, working in her flower beds and feeding her birds.

A celebration of Delores' life will be Saturday, April 13, 2024, 11am at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., with visitation beginning one hour prior. Luncheon to follow.
