Breu, Dennis L.
Age 90, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2016 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents, John and Florence Breu; sisters, Esther Leikam and Phyllis Wiebe; and brother, John Breu. He will be sadly missed by wife of 67 years, LaVaun; daughters, Shelley Jokinen (Martin) of Vadnais Heights, Renee Swanson (Jay) of Stillwater; grandchildren, Beth and Kristen Swanson, Claire and Paul Jokinen; sisters, Marian Smith (Calvin) of Kenosha, WI, Betsy Gordon (Larry) of Cambridge, MN; brother, Roger Breu (Norma) of Searles, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dennis was born in New Ulm, MN and served in the USMC during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He then moved to Stillwater and retired from Unisys in 1986. A celebration of Dennis' life will be Friday, July 1, 11:00 A.M. at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 609 South Fifth Street, Stillwater. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, June 30, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
