Dennis L. Pederson

Of Stillwater, Minnesota, passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 73 of natural causes.

Dennis graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1969 and the University of Minnesota in 1973. He married the love of his life, Julie, in 1976. For most of his career, he worked at U.S. Bank as a Personal and Business Banking Officer. Later in life he took a break from banking work to care for his mother while she had dialysis treatments.

Dennis was very kind-hearted, fun, honest, and had many deep friendships. This includes his group of friends, “The Hiawatha Boys,” with whom he has palled around with since grade school.

He was an avid Packers fan and had a lot of fun with his niece Becky. He liked “old-timey” activities such as living in a Victorian home, farm and car auctions, and watching Bogart movies. His hobby was to fix up old furniture to sell at the neighborhood garage sale. He recently started bowling again. The annual trips to Hawaii with best friend Al Trudeau and his wife were very special to him as were the outdoorsy adventures with his sister Diane.

Preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Dolores Pederson, wife Julie Pederson, and brother, David Pederson. Survived by his sisters, Joyce Roberg (Kerm) and Diane Pederson; sister-in-law Kathryn Pederson; nephew Michael Pederson – Nicole; nieces Debbie Bogle (Brian) – Zachary, Elijah, and Gabriel, Rebecca Miller (Greg) - Noah and Ethan, Lisa Hanson – Cal and Tyler, Kecia Carroll (John), Kristin Hummel (Dan) – Paul, Greta, and Caroline, Kara Dodds (Matt) – Trenton and Tyler, sister-in-law Bonnie Henze (Ken) - Heidi Hanson (Roy) - Sammy and Jimmy, Dena Hinrichs (Mark) – Jessica and Hannah.

Services to be held Monday, February 17, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 4th Street N, Stillwater, MN 55082 Visitation 10-11:00, Service 11-12:00, Luncheon to follow. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater, MN.
