Dolores D. Schloesser nee. Perseke
Age 96, passed away on November 20, 2024.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Aloysius "Al" Schloesser; infant daughter, Patricia Alice; parents, Harvey and Martha Perseke; and her brother, Eugene (Elizabeth) Perseke.
She is survived by her children, Debora (Kenneth) Sandquist, David (Mary) Schloesser, Paul (Shari) Schloesser, and Stephen (Gail) Schloesser; 11 grandchildren, Amy (Tom) Kieffer, Aron Sandquist, Anissa (Erik Smith) Driscoll, Tamara (Clayton) Pfeil, Davina (Jim) Winkler, Naarah (John) Schaffler, Blake Schloesser, Stefany (Corbett) Grainger, Danielle (Phil) Dedman, Luke (Alison) Schloesser, and Lisa Schloesser; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and countless more friends and loved ones.
Dolores was a homemaker, devoted to her immediate and extended family. Her entire life was spent in service of others, and her innate gift of hospitality was enjoyed by many. Dolores was a longtime member and active volunteer at St. Bernard's Catholic Church and Schools. She was a talented cake decorator. Her pastimes included knitting, crocheting, reading, and she was an avid letter and note writer. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Bethesda Hospital for over 20 years.
Funeral services for Dolores Schloesser will be held on Wednesday, November 27th at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Pius X (3878 Highland Ave, White Bear Lake) with visitation an hour prior. Luncheon to follow.
Interment with her beloved husband at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
