Don L. Tate

Age 91 of White Bear Lake.

Passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. He is survived by wife of 56 years, Eileen; children, Bryan Tate, Jennifer Jensen, Scott Tate; grandchildren, Mark Roesler, Jeff (Lynn) Roesler, Matthew Jensen, Madeline Jensen, Cooper Tate; great-grandchildren, Devon, Alicia, Ella, Will; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, four siblings; daughter, Linda Roesler.

After being discharged from the United States Air Force, Don spent his career as a firefighter in St. Paul, retiring as Captain of Station 7. His cooking skills were much appreciated around the station. Don was an avid fisherman and lifelong Minnesota sports fan.

Memorial service will be 11:00am Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at ST. ANDREW’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi, with visitation one hour prior.
