Age 81 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 1, 2009. Member of Rosetown American Legion Post 542 for the past 38 years. Survived by daughters, Barbara (Chuck) Katz, Patricia (Jim) Frohreich and Theresa (Loyal) Reed; grandchildren, Todd (Melissa), Mike (Kristie), Angie, Katie (Adrian), Annie (Niles), Joe, Garrett, Seth & Andrew; great-grandchildren Amelia & Jace; brother, Mal; nieces, nephews & dear friends. Preceded in death by wife, Gerry, daughter, Deborah Evangeline and parents, Eva Berlin and Cliff (Evelyn) Berlin. ?He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.? A private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery and a private family service at Waverly Gardens Presbyterian Homes will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Don Berlin Memorial c/o Waverly Gardens Presbyterian Homes, 5919 Centerville Road, North Oaks, MN 55127
