Age 76, of Stillwater
Died peacefully surrounded by family on January 28, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Preceded in death by wife, Toni; daughter, Marie and sister, Rita Glenn. Survived by children, Corinne White, Flo (Greg) Harris and Joe (Beth); 11 grandchildren; siblings, Sr. Joan CSJ, Carol (Pat) Patrek, Bill, Jr. (Ann), Ralph (Sandy); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Don grew up in Northeast Minneapolis, attended Ascension Catholic School, and volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol. After high school, enlisted in the Navy, and served on the USS Hector from 1959- 1963. Don moved to Stillwater where he met and married Toni Junker in 1966. Don lost Toni in April 2016 after almost 50 years of marriage. They raised 3 children after losing their first daughter, Marie. Don was active in The Knights of Columbus, St. Mary's Church Choir and loved to serve others. Don retired from Andersen Windows after 35 years. He then found enjoyment in a part-time job as a monitor on the school bus. He loved being around the kids and enjoyed going to work everyday until just this last fall.
Don was all about family, faith and serving his neighbors, church and community. He will always be remembered for his gentle kindness, humble spirit, and compassion towards others.

Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, February 5, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF ST. MARY, 423 South Fifth Street, Stillwater. Visitation Sunday, February 4, 2018, 2:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M., with a family led Rosary at 5:00PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater, and visitation also one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Memorials are preferred to St Mary's Church.
