Born June 29, 1926, to Ethel and Roy Gustafson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Graduated from Edison HS, University of Minnesota and Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary. Served in WWII. Married to Mildred (Anderson) on May 24, 1952. Retired from Medtronic, Inc. Preceded in death by parents and grandson David Gustafson. Survived by brother Alan (Betsy), daughter Mary, son Tim (Melanie), grandchildren Arwen and Don Hotchkiss and Teddy and Paul Gustafson, nephew Mark (Angela) and niece Julie (Peter).
