October 7, 2005. He served in the Korean War 1950-1951
and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Donald was well known in St. Paul?s North End as the owner of Ace Auto Parts and Salvage Inc. on Rice Street. He was a devoted father and husband. He loved his family and many friends. Donald enjoyed motorcycles, cars, 30 consecutive trips to Sturgis with family & friends, MSRA Street Rod Events, his classic Indian motorcycle and ?39 Chevrolet.
He is preceded in death by parents, Carl & Agnes and sister, Margaret Edberg. Donald is survived by his wife
of 56 years, Gloria; children, Donald Jr. (Lynn), Steve (Julie), Jim (Wendy), Rick, Barb Weyandt (Marcus) and
Kathy Weyandt (Dick); grandchildren, Robb, Danny & Megan, Stephanie, Rachael & Allison, Sara, Molly & Melissa, Jack, Kirby, & Natalie and Julia, Max & Anna; and sisters, Marge Schultz & Laurie Sahlberg.
Service Monday 3PM at ST. TIMOTHY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1465 N. Victoria St. Private Interment. Visitation Sunday 3-7PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice at Magnolia. Motorcycle and street rod procession leaving from funeral home Monday at 2:15PM. Memorials preferred to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
