Died on October 11, 2018, age 70, due to complications of Alzheimer's. Preceded in death by parents, James and Frieda; brother, Tom; father-in-law, Bill Soete. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Marie; son, Doug (Melanie); granddaughter, Grace Marie; sister, Mary Lou Knipe; mother-in-law, Betty Soete. Service Friday, October 19, 11:00 A.M. at ROCKPOINT CHURCH, 5825 Kelvin Ave N, Lake Elmo. Visitation one hour prior. Private family burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to the family for Alzheimer's research.
