Passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Elmo on June 3, 2015. Preceded in death by his mother, Winefred Karas; father, Walter Tauer; sisters, Carol Simon and Jean Brisson. Survived by his loving wife, Joan; daughter, Dawn (Tim) Larson; grandchildren, Adam and Austin Larson; brother, David (Rose) Tauer; sister, Jean (Gary) Hepola; brothers in law, George Brisson and Frank Simon; many nieces, nephews other extended family members and friends. A service celebrating Donald's life will be held Wednesday, 5PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Family to greet friends one hour prior to the service.
