Wicklund, Donald V

of Mpls., MN passed away on July 23, 2023. Preceded in death by parents Victor and Hildegarde; sister Kathy (Doug) Antrim; brother-in-law Frank Dallas; is survived by his wife Charlotte; son Scott (Jill); daughters Kimberly Cook (Earl Jarosh) and Holly (Jim) Provo; sister Gloria Dallas. He was a Roosevelt HS graduate and a Veteran Marine. Don worked for MN DOT for over 30 years working his way up to Assistant Director of Electronic Communications. He had a "do-it-yourself " attitude when it came to projects like adding an addition on to their Mpls. home and later building the family cabin up in Spring Lake, MN where he enjoyed card playing and deer hunting with his family and friends. He always put family first, especially when it came to his 10 grandchildren and his multiple nieces and nephews. All of his friends and family will miss him greatly. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on August 18, 2023 at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 3131 Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis with a Visitation an hour prior.
