Age 69, of Stillwater passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on May 25th, 2024. She was born in Shell Lake, WI, and was the eldest of eight siblings, to Dorothy M. Osborn and Richard D. Bunker.
Donna grew up in Cumberland, WI and was a graduate of the University of River Falls, WI. Donna held various small jobs throughout her working career but was a stay-at-home mom for her children while they were young. Donna enjoyed traveling (especially to Hawaii with Rob), sewing, hosting Kentucky Derby parties, spending time with family, and gardening in her backyard by the pool. She was a funny, smart, caring, loving, generous person, an amazing wife, and a loving mother who will be deeply missed.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years; Rob Bement, her parents, and brother, Richard Bunker Jr. Donna is survived by her children; Tanea (Dave) Thompson, Tristan Bement; grandchild; Lewis Thompson, her sister, brothers, sister in-law, aunt, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.
A special thank you to Donna's dear friend Jane, who visited her nearly every day while at Oak Park Senior Living.
A celebration of life will be held on June 7th, 2024 from 5pm - 7pm at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN 55082.
