Donna Showers

Donna J. Showers (nee Baker), age 84 of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024.

She was a wife, daughter, sister, grandma, and great-grandma who treasured time with family. Donna was born in Madison, WI to Nathan and Lucille Baker. She graduated from Madison East High School. On June 24, 1961 she married her high school sweetheart, Will. They were blessed across the decades with love, laughter, and two children. She loved her granddaughters, great-granddaughters, sightseeing with Will in the Corvette, and the Green Bay Packers.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Will; her parents; sister, Janice; brothers-in-law, Mark and Jim; and in-laws on her husband's side.

She is survived by children, Bret (Mikki), Lisa (Gilby); granddaughters, Anna (Eric), Erika, Kayla (Nick), and Cora (Jovi); two great-granddaughters, Hollis and Audra; siblings Bonnie, Rod (Laurie), Bob (Marilyn), Luanne (John); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service 2pm Wednesday, September 4th at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation beginning one hour prior. A lunch will follow the service. Private Family Interment at Highland Memory Gardens in Madison, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lakeview Hospice in Stillwater, MN.
