Dorcas Wynne Wright (nee Jones)
Born in Stillwater, MN on August 26, 1943, the daughter of Earl W. and Lois I. Jones. She was a graduate of Stillwater High School, Class of 1961. She attended the University of Colorado before moving to Alaska. There she met and married her husband, Faye Gentry ?Ted? Wright. They lived at Big Lake, Alaska. After his death she moved to North Bend, Oregon where she has resided the past 12 years. She passed away the morning of February 10, 2004 in North Bend. She is survived by her longtime friend Tom Pratt; one brother, Richard W. Jones (Sue) of Menominee, MI.; brother-in-law, Thomas Havekost; two nephews, Jeremy Jones and Michael Havekost; two nieces, Sarah and Kate Havekost, and cousins, Jane Dickinson of Stillwater, Kate Nelson of Houlton, WI., Jayne Bridge of Scottsdale, AZ., Patricia Lee of Conrad, MT., Sue Broman of Bloomington, MN., Sally Jones of Worchester, NY., David Jones of Plymouth, MN., and Ann Grotting of Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Lois Havekost. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 11:00 AM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. Family will greet friends following the service for a luncheon and fellowship. Private interment Fairview cemetery.
