Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family 2/3/2008. Born in Green Springs, Ohio. Taught school in Ohio. Moved to Minnesota to pursue her PhD studies in Botany where she met her future husband, Gerald. She was a Master Gardener, member of the MN Horticultural Society, and volunteer for the MN Red Cross. Survived by her husband, Gerald; son, Bruce (Julie); grandson, Peter; sister, Bonnie; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by sisters, Jeannie, Dorothy, & Lauradel; brother, Lyman. Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday at ST. CROIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 16600 7th Street South, Lakeland, MN. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred.
