Doris (Johnson) Josephson Walimaa

Born in Goodridge, MN on June 14, 1931. Left us on August 4, 2024.

In 1947 Doris married Dan Josephson. They have 5 surviving children Marian Peterson, Michael (Linda) Josephson, Marsha (Scott) Spatafore, Mitchel (Jolene) Josephson, Marie (Michael) Jara, 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren , 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Esther Fjeld and Joann (Dave) Langseth. Doris lost Dan in 1975, but after 20 years found companionship with her second husband, John Walimaa. John passed away in 2010.

Above all Doris loved her family and was concerned with each and everyone. Doris' faith carried her through many losses.

Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Alice (Tenold) Johnson; brothers, Leroy, Walter and Russell Johnson; sister, Helen Holen; 3 infant children, Larry, Dean and Betty; son-in-law, Edmund; and granddaughter-in-law, Peggy.

Service to be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1616 Olive St W, Stillwater, MN on Sunday August 11 at 2PM with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment in Goodridge, MN.

Memorials preferred to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Goodridge Cemetery.
