Dorothy Case

Passed away peacefully on February 10, 2010, surrounded by family and loved ones. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph; brother, Gerald; and sisters, Anna, Esther, Ranniel, Carrie, Ruth, Sylvia and Gertrude. She is survived by three daughters, Sally (Gene) Boyle of Red Lake Falls, Ruth (Craig) Avery of Idaho Falls, Kathy (Spike) Carlsen of Stillwater; 8 grandchildren, Holly Boyle, Dusty (Lisa) Boyle, Ben Avery, Sarah (Mitch) McCoy, Maggie (Mace) Wescott, Zach Carlsen, Kellie Erickson, and Tessa (Charlie) Wolff; and one great grandchild, Paige Dorothy McCoy. She was born June 27, 1916 in Grand Forks , North Dakota . She married Ralph Lloyd Case on October 1, 1944; they were married for 43 years. Dorothy was a gentle, loving person. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with family. She taught us to love the simple pleasures in life like books, flowers, rides in the country and McDonald's coffee. Service at 3PM on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 with visitation one hour prior at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH , 115 North 4 ^th Street , Stillwater . Interment Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji at 2PM on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. Memorials welcomed to National Alliance for Schizophrenia Research
