Dorothy Johnson

Dorothy (Thera) Johnson, born May 1, 1922, Dorothy left this life quietly and peacefully on April 9, 2018. Preceded in death by son James and twin sister Doris. Honored and beloved mother of Donald Johnson, Donna (Jim) Duell, Gordon (Peggi) Johnson, and Richard (Nancy) Johnson; remembered and loved by daughter-in-law Sharon Bodahl; grandmother of Dawn Johnstone, Jeanne Norris, Lisa Loken, Heather DeCurtins, Tina (Mike) Utecht, Mike Duell, Brian (Lori) Johnson, Randy (Shelly) Johnson, Katie (Cory) Ellis, Kelly (Andrew) Gunderson, Kyle Johnson, and Jackie (Tim) Routa; devoted great-grandmother of 17 and one great-great grandson. Dorothy was a long-time employee of Merrick's Foods on St. Paul's Eastside. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her many Caribbean cruises, long-blade skating at Aldrich Arena, and trips to the cabin. She never let a family event go by without decorating a beautiful cake. Her firm values and class best described her. A private memorial service to honor Dorothy's beautiful spirit will be held with close friends and family 3:00PM Tuesday April 17 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St Mary's Catholic Church St Paul.
