Dorothy Thiel

Dorothy Jean Thiel, born April, 20, 1946, was the second of seven children born to the union of Mack Brisco and Katherian Brisco. She received her former education from the Chicago Southside school system, earning her High School Diploma from DuShable High School.

Dorothy was a loving mother of five and "The Life of Any Party." Family was everything to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. Her fascinating personality drew people to her of all ages. Which explains why she loved to listen to Gucci Mane and Boosie, along with watching wu-tang karate collection, Court T.V. and going to the casino. Dorothy was a sharp dresser and a skilled spades player, who could not be beaten.

On September 17th, 2021, Dorothy gained her wings and went home to be with God. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Thiel, parents Mack and Katherian Brisco, sister Shirley, brothers Albert "Kentay" and Thomas, grandchildren Joshua and Emmett.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her three beautiful daughters Shirlena, Shanice, Michelle and two handsome sons Darryl and Keion, sister Louise, brothers Alfred "Amar" and Fred, 29, grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
