Dorothy Whitson

Whitson, Dorothy Neibel Passed away peacefully after a long residency at Boutwells Landing in Stillwater on August 13, 2008. Preceded in death by husband, Lee and son, Frank. Survived by extended family, Dianne and Thomas and their children Joe, Annie and John Polasik; other loving extended family members and friends. Dorothy, an ever gracious lady, had numerous interests and an adventurous spirit. She enjoyed spending time outdoors especially on the St. Croix River. A graduate of Macalester College, Dorothy was actively involved in several organizations including: Schubert Club; PEO (since 1941); Daughters of the American Revolution; Camp Fire Executive in New York City; Camp Director at Camp Ojiketa in Minnesota; served with the American Red Cross overseas during World War II. She and her husband, Lee, founded and owned W.R. Medical Electronics. Service 11 AM Friday, August 22, 2008 with visitation one hour prior to service at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. In lieu of flowers, memorials welcomed to a charity of your choice.
