Preceded in death by parents, Bruce and Alita Morton; and beloved pets, Lefty, Rusty and Mike. He will be sadly missed by wife of 58 years, Harriet; daughters, Pam Beeching, Mari Brant and Jennifer Morton; grandson, John; sister, Jeannie Streed; other relatives and friends. Doug was the Director of Public Affairs at Contel, Past President of the Minnesota Telephone Association and a member of the Masons and Shriners. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW, 678 South Snelling at Eleanor, St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 5:00-8:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Lane North, Golden Valley, MN 55422
