Former 25-year Postmaster and longtime resident Lakeland, MN
He was an active participant in life from 1925 to 2012. His good times and his trials all came to an end on October 3, 2012. He is asleep awaiting the promised resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 2:17). Attended the old Gordon Grade School in St. Paul, and graduated from Central High School and Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He was the author of a book on the history of Lakeland. Preceded in death by wife, Alice. Survived by daughter Nancy (Mark) Haberman & grandson Aaron of Lakeland; sister, Jeanne Ahrens, of FL; niece, Jo Ann (Charles) Eichacker, of FL; nephew, Dr. James (Kathy) Ahrens, of Park Rapids, MN; niece and nephew, Jeanne (Bob) & Jeff (Jan); and cousin, Ted Johnson, who was like a brother to him. Funeral service, Monday, October 8, 2012, 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW Corner of Hwy 36 & Co. Rd. 5), Stillwater. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeland.
