John passed away after over 30 years of Parkinson's disease. He accepted this, and persevered in his struggle, never complaining. Graduate of Cretin H.S. Attended St. John's University, University of Minnesota Dental School receiving his DDS and MSD. Member of Delta Sigma Delta and honorary dental society Omicron Kappa Epsilon. Served as Captain in U.S. Air Force. He inspired many to pursue dentistry. He had a generous, humble spirit and was loved by all his patients throughout his 35 years of practice. A past president and member of North Oaks Golf Club since 1972. Led family to his love of golf, skiing and travelling. The cabin and Arizona winters were also special to him. Deeply missed by loving wife of 49 years, Carol. Sons, Dr. Dan (Stacey), David (Erica), daughter Darcy Brodt (Bart); grandchildren, Sydney, Connor, Annika, Nicholas, Carson, Kaitlyn, Maeve and Clara; and sister, Jeanne Crane (Mike). Visitation Wednesday, February 17, 4-7 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Dr., White Bear Township. MASS OF Christian Burial Thursday, February 18, 10:30am at CHURCH OF ST. ODILIA, 3495 North Victoria, Shoreview, with visitation also one hour prior to the Mass at church. Memorials to St. Odilia Endowment Fund in John's name.
