Paulson, Dr. Jon Craig, age 63 of Lake St. Croix Beach passed away on December 13, 2010. Survived by children, Jon, Jenna and Jaye; grandson, Erik; sister, Pam (Ron) Divin; nephews, Jeremy (Ashley) and Tyler (Meghan); and great nephew, James.
Craig was a kind hearted, generous, easy going man. His good friends knew him as "Doc". He was raised in Richfield Minnesota. He attended Dartmouth College, earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and practiced family medicine for short period of time near Mammoth, California. He returned to Minnesota, to specialize in Orthopedic medicine. He served his Orthopedic residency at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester Minnesota. He was a highly skilled surgeon with a strong compassion for his patients. Craig was a partner in the Saint Croix Orthopedic Group for several years. He primarily practiced in Hudson Wisconsin and Stillwater Minnesota. Craig was a world traveler, had a home in Mexico and savored adventure. He liked writing and painting. He truly loved his three kids, Jon, Jenna and Jaye. He was an avid hunter, inventor, snow skier and enjoyed spending time along the St Croix river with his dog, Gadget. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Service Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 3PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5.) Gathering one hour prior to the service.
