Died November 14, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Leah (Danielson) Ofstie; brother, Lyle Ofstie; husbands, Daniel Gelford and Leslie Meader and son, Randy Gelford. Survived by daughter, Judy Klos; step-sons, Bill, John (Sheree), Gary, and Mark Meader; step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Raised in Spring Valley, WI. Attended Carleton College with emphasis on music, which was her calling in life. Directed choir at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bayport for 36 years. Celebration of Life will be held at ST CROIX VALLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 16600 7th Street South, Lakeland, on Sat., Nov. 23 at noon, followed by lunch. Visitation, Fri., Nov. 22 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (NW corner of Hwy36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater from 4:30 to 7:30 pm and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials are preferred to St. Croix Valley Church, Union Gospel Mission, Teen Challenge, Community Thread in Stillwater, or www.CARE.org.
