Eileen Elizabeth Williams
Age 85 of Eagan
Passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023.
Faith was very important to her. Even in her last several days of life, she was witnessing to her children and grandchildren.
Early in her career, Eileen was a teacher. Later on, Eileen worked for Dakota County as a home health aide. She took a lot of pride in getting her LPN certification graduating with a 4.0.
In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and sewing. Eileen made quilts for the family’s high school graduates and baby blankets for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never missed a birthday. Eileen was an avid gardener and had a green thumb. She may not have liked baking, but she made the best chocolate chip cookies that you’ve ever had. Eileen was a fierce competitor and loved playing games but preferred to win. She had incredibly strong opinions when it came to politics and was very civically active.
Eileen is preceded in death by her children, Lisa and Lynae; grandson, Zachary; parents, Clifford and Lizzie; and special aunt and uncle, Alton and Bertha.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Dale; children, Lori (Mark) DeVries, Lary (Tammy) Williams, and Ladona Settell; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
