age 99 of Mpls. passed away on September 6, 2007. Preceded in death by husband, William and baby, James Lyman. Survived by sons, Richard, James (Linda) and William (Maureen); grandchildren, Tracie Dodig (Jay), Jennifer Christman (Jon), Ryan Farrell, John Farrell, Michael Farrell (Andrea) and Patrick Farrell; great-grandchildren, Jack & Ava Christman and Jameson Dodig. Eleanore was born in Waseca in 1908, attended St. Teresa's College, Winona and graduated from McPhail School of Music, Mpls. She taught piano at St. Thomas the Apostle and St. Helena's schools and private violin & piano lessons at her home studio. Husband Bill & Ellie ran the Minneapolis landmark Harry's CafAC. in the late 1950's to the early 1970's. She was a violinist with the Minneapolis Civic orchestra, member of Mu Phi Music Fraternity, League of Catholic Women and St. Helena's Women's Club. She was an avid bridge player, musician, volunteer, traveler, an extraordinary mother and much loved Nana to her grandchildren. Many thanks to all the caring staff from Heartland Hospice who have touched her life and her legion of friends who have helped her through this 100 year journey. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10AM at CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, 3201 E. 43rd St. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. Private family interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Joe Farrell Fund, 4459 London Lane NW, Rochester, MN 55901.
