Jesus sent his angels to bring Eliana safely home. She is now sharing her beautiful smile, spirit and joy with everyone in heaven. On the afternoon of April 4th, after a two-year battle with cancer and other medical challenges since birth, Eliana peacefully took her last breath in the loving arms of her family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Syed Shah. She is survived by her parents, Zuber and Sara Shah, brothers Eli and Isaiah, paternal grandmother Mary Shah, and maternal grandparents Tom and Carol Billig.
Eliana was the happiest and most bubbly little girl anyone would encounter. In spite of everything she had endured, she continued to provide joy to those around her with her beautiful smile. She loved her family, friends and music. She enjoyed dancing in the arms of her family, playing at the beach, meeting new people, taking pictures, making phone calls, playing guitar and piano, and camping.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 14th, 2019 at 3:00 pm. Visitations will be held on Saturday April 13th, 2019 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and Sunday April 14th, 2019 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Both visitations and celebration of life service will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, 14940 62nd Street North, Stillwater, MN 55082. Cards and letters can be sent to the family at PO Box 402, Stillwater, MN 55082. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to the following organizations: Children's Hospitals of Minnesota (Music Therapy program), Ronald McDonald House of Rochester MN, Hopekids MN, Brighter Tomorrows of Rochester MN, and Make-A-Wish MN.
