Of Richfield. Born February 3, 1938 in St. Peter, MN, passed away peacefully July 28, 2012. Preceded in death by her grandmother, father, step-father, brother and many cherished dogs. She will be sadly missed by her mother, June Knudsen; children, Debra Dobrodziej (Ted), Brenda Johnson (Mark), Randall Kumpula, John Kumpula, Jr. (Pam), and Sean Samuelson (Laura); 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry and Russell Kost; many family and friends. Betty devoted her life to family and others. Service Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at MINNEHAHA COMMUNION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4101 - 37th Avenue South. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday (TODAY), 5:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South and also one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials are preferred to The Humane Society.
