Elizabeth Ann (Heilman) Trauscht

Elizabeth’s life ended on December 7th, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Her life was blessed.

She was born in Sparta, WI on 10/10/50 to Omer and Caroline (Schwarz) Heilman.  

She was united in marriage to Daniel D. Trauscht on 4/5/75 and they were blessed with:  Kristine, Kevin and Kelsey, and Brian.  She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren:  Trevor and Gwendolyn; Ethan and Ashlyn.  She is also survived by her birth-daughter, Beth and her children, Nicholas, and Emily.

Surviving siblings are Mary and Mike, Bob and Cookie, Joanie and Jim, Julie, Alice, Mary and Pat and Cindy and Mike. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barb, and Barb’s husband, Dave. Numerous family members and friends also survive.

A devoted wife, mother and Bubba, Elizabeth was always focused on what mattered most, her family and friends.  She was often seen and heard bragging about her children, grandchildren and anyone else important in her life.  Always positive, she was filled with faith, love, and kindness for all.  Over the years, she enjoyed baking, going on daily walks, crossword puzzles - just like her mom, and historical genealogy. Summers were spent at the lake, surrounded by friends and family making the many memories that those of us still on this earth will treasure for the rest of our life.

Elizabeth would like to thank all the people who are and have been associated with Lakeview Hospice and Home Care, an organization where she volunteered since 2006.  Lakeview Hospice gave her a wonderful going-home gift—a full and abundant life at the end of her journey.

A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.
