Dahl Construction and Pioneer Member Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Snelling Avenue. Age 91 of Saint Paul. Passed away February 8, 2005. Veteran WWII, African Theatre, Artist and avid fisherman, 40 year usher at Gloria Dei also serving as head usher for many years. Preceded in death by beloved wife, Kathleen; parents, August and Cemelia; siblings, Helen Olson, Werner Dahl, Clara Thomsen. Survived by caregivers, Bob and Debbie McPherson, Patty McPherson, the McPherson family and long time friend and neighbor, Walter Stabnow. Also by cousin and friend, Lester (Doris) Erickson and many out of state extended family members and caring friends. Service Monday 10 a.m. at GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH, 700 Snelling Avenue South, St. Paul. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday (TODAY) 6:30 p.m. ? 8:30 p.m. at BRADSHAW, 678 South Snelling Avenue, St. Paul and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials preferred to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Special thank you to the fourth floor staff of Presbyterian Homes, Arden Hills for their exceptional and compassionate care.
